Children's Ministries

We believe that children nurtured by loving Christian parents who make worshipping God a central part of their family life will instill the love of Christ in the hearts of the children. Our ministries will equip our children for a life of Christian service, joy, and success. To that end, Veto Presbyterian Church offers many opportunites for children to learn about the gospel, fellowship with one another, and develop life-long skills to serve Christ in each their own unique ways. Our children's ministries are designed for children from birth to sixth grade.

  • Sunday School - Sunday School is held every Sunday from 9:45 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. Age appropriate Sunday School lessons, music, and craft activities are central themes of our Sunday School curriculum for each age group.

  • Children's Choir - We believe that children learn and retain lessons about the Bible through music. We have a children's choir that practices on Saturdays at 10:00 A.M. with performances periodically in church services throughout the year. Children's choir is led by a professional choir director to teach wonderful Christian music to our children. We also have dedicated volunteers to help with props and costumes for performances. They even provide snacks lead some fun games during the choir practice times.

  • Catechism - Catechism classes are offered periodically for children of an age to understand Christ's sacrifice for our sins. They learn about the Westminster Confession of Faith, the fundamental theology of our Reformed Presbyterian faith, and for those who have not been baptized, they are given an opportunity to learn about the ordinance of baptism to prepare them for that Holy sacriment.
